Couscous and Secrets

The young Algerian chef Mehdi leads a double life: During the day, he is the brilliant chef in the bistro, on the verge of taking over the place together with his partner Léa – but in the evenings, he plays the 'perfect son' in front of his Algerian mother Fatima... The only problem is that this role makes no provision for Léa or Mehdi's great love for French cuisine. When Léa finally insists on meeting Fatima, Mehdi resorts to the worst of all solutions under pressure – triggering a chain reaction in which misunderstandings boil over faster than couscous.
