Discover Bamberg at Night: Explore the Museum with a Flashlight
When darkness falls over Bamberg, an unusual discovery experience begins at the Natural History Museum. During the one-hour flashlight tour on Friday, November 6, 2026, participants will explore the pitch-dark museum and experience exhibits, rooms, and natural history topics from an entirely new perspective.
A Special Kind of City Tour
The light of the flashlight directs attention to details that are easily hidden under normal lighting. Shadows, outlines, and selected exhibits create an atmospheric connection between museum experience, knowledge transfer, and night exploration. The focus is on nocturnal animals and other dark themes that are vividly explained during the tour.
Pitch-Black Exhibition Rooms and Intense Impressions
The flashlight tour transforms the Natural History Museum into a unique experience space. In the darkness, a concentrated atmosphere arises, where sounds, light beams, and the immediate proximity to the exhibition objects create a cultural enrichment for curious adults, families, and young explorers.
