Live Club Bamberg | Program & Opening Hours
The Live Club Bamberg is one of the defining addresses for music, club nights, and events in the Bamberg old town. Together with the Haas Halls, the location is centrally located at Obere Sandstraße 7, right in the historic center of the city, where short distances, evening programs, and urban atmosphere come together. Those searching for live club bamberg program, live club photos, or live club reviews will not end up at an interchangeable event address but at a location with a clear identity: live music, DJ parties, dance evenings, private celebrations, and formats for very different target groups. The official website brings together impressions, program information, and service pages, while the available review data underscores the popularity of the place with 4.1 stars and over 1,000 reviews. For visitors, the Live Club is thus both a concert venue, a nightlife address, and a fixed meeting point for a lively evening in Bamberg. ([live-club.de](https://www.live-club.de/live-club))
Program, Parties, and Live Music at Live Club Bamberg
The heart of the Live Club Bamberg is the program. The official website makes it clear that events with music take place here, namely live concerts, club evenings, and DJ events. The club operates with a clear double concept: during pub evenings, the cozier character is in the foreground, the small stage is used, and the guest area is only lightly furnished. During club evenings, concerts take place on the large stage, and to create a real concert atmosphere, the space is usually unseated. This distinction is particularly important for searching for live club bamberg program because the monthly program is not just a list of dates but makes different evening formats visible. This also fits the self-description of the location as a place for handmade music and DJ events. ([neu.live-club.de](https://neu.live-club.de/service/faq-haeufig-gestellte-fragen))
A glance at the current and recent program brochures shows the range: at the Live Club, concerts, party series, and specials appear just as clearly as formats with a clear genre orientation, for example, punk, metal, Latin, hip-hop, 2000s parties, or after-work evenings. This is relevant for search queries like live club bamberg program or live club bamberg photos because the location is not limited to a single style but offers a very broad mix. At the same time, the handwriting of the operators remains recognizable: the club finances itself and can only hold events where a certain number of guests is realistic. Precisely for this reason, the programs are tailored to a viable audience. Also, dance parties, 80s, 90s, and 2000s parties are firmly part of the profile according to the FAQ and current event pages. So, if someone is looking for a lively, danceable mix of concert evening and nightlife culture, they will not find a static event hall here, but a club location with a regularly changing offer. Access, Parking, and Public Transport
Access to the Live Club Bamberg is easy if you know the city center location, but it cannot be compared to a classic access situation at a suburban club. The official location info clearly states that the Live Club and the Haas Halls are centrally located in the Bamberg city center, directly on Sandstraße. For cars: In the narrow, traffic-calmed street, access is only possible to a limited extent, and according to venue info, access is only possible for vehicles up to a maximum length of 7.00 meters. For loading and unloading, vehicles may stop directly in front of the house, but they cannot remain there permanently. For this reason, the search terms live club obere sandstraße bamberg and live club bamberg opening hours are often associated with questions about parking and access. ([live-club.de](https://www.live-club.de/node/42?utm_source=openai))
Those arriving by car should take the official advice seriously: there are no parking options in the immediate vicinity. The City and Residenzschloss underground garages are recommended; from there, the walk is about five minutes. Additionally, there are a few free parking spaces at Leinritt below the Hotel Residenzschloss, according to venue info. For buses and trains, there is also a clear route: from the train station, it is best to take lines 901, 902, or 911 to the ZOB, then take line 910 to Elisabethenstraße or line 918 to Schranne. From there, it is about two to three minutes on foot to the Live Club, alternatively, the walk from the ZOB is about five minutes. These details make planning the arrival easier and prevent unnecessary searching in the old town. ([live-club.de](https://www.live-club.de/node/42?utm_source=openai))
Opening Hours, Admission, and Tickets
When it comes to opening hours, it makes sense to distinguish between office, event, and guest operations. For inquiries, booking, ticket service, and general communication, the Live Club states office hours from Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 16:00 on the contact page. The Haas Halls can only be reached directly by phone during events. For the public operation itself, there is no fixed daily opening time like in a classic retail store because the times depend on the respective events. The homepage and the monthly program therefore always show specific admission and start times, which can vary significantly depending on the event. So, if someone is searching for live club bamberg opening hours, they should always distinguish between office hours and event times. ([live-club.de](https://www.live-club.de/kontakt))
The ticket purchase structure is also transparent. According to the FAQ, there are advance sale tickets for many events, which can be accessed directly via the respective event pages or through the ticket partner vivenu; for some external events, additional sales channels such as Eventim or bvd Ticket are added. The Live Club also points out clear admission rules: youths under 18 years of age are generally not allowed entry unless accompanied by a parent at all times. Parental consent forms or transfers of guardianship are not accepted, and a valid ID is mandatory for all age groups. Additionally, heavily intoxicated groups may be refused entry, which is part of the venue's security concept. Those who plan their visit well will find a clearly structured environment in which tickets, admission, and safety are reliably regulated. History and Special Features of the Live Club
The history of the Live Club Bamberg goes back far into the modern club and concert culture of the city. On December 1, 1990, according to its own chronicle, the gate to this legendary live music location opened for the first time. Even then, bands or soloists performed five times a week, supplemented by the traditional Monday dance and Wednesday dance. The place quickly became a springboard for musicians and a living room for many guests. In June 1995, the seamless move from the then pub to the Live Club followed. The history is therefore not just a sequence of relocations but an expression of how a sustainable live and dance culture could develop in Bamberg. Today, those searching for live club reviews or live club photos will encounter a business with a long memory culture and a surprisingly stable role in the local scene. ([live-club.de](https://www.live-club.de/live-club))
Another chapter began in 2010: due to noise protection issues, the Blues Bar was closed, and the program moved to the Live Club. Extensive renovations were carried out in the summer of 2010, including a new bar, new seating, and a second, smaller stage for the former Blues Bar concerts. Today, the uniqueness of the location is reflected in this mix of tradition and adaptability. At the Live Club, national and international artists perform, while pub evenings, dance parties, and danceable club nights remain a fixed part of the concept. This distinguishes the address from a pure concert venue: it is a developed nightlife institution that adapts to new requirements without losing its identity. ([live-club.de](https://www.live-club.de/live-club))
Haas Halls, Terrace, and Room Concepts for Celebrations
One of the most important additions to the Live Club is the Haas Halls. They are located in the same ensemble at Obere Sandstraße 7 and are also a fixed part of the Bamberg cultural scene. The historical development of these rooms is particularly exciting: according to the official representation, a café was established in the 19th century, a two-story music pavilion was built on the terrace, and a bowling alley was added in 1895. In the 20th century, the rooms were temporarily used as a cinema, restaurant, dance school, and later as billiard rooms before the Haas Halls were created in their current form in 2000. Additionally, the website describes the premises as a unique ambiance in the heart of Bamberg's old town below the cathedral. This makes them particularly interesting for inquiries about live club photos, private celebrations, and event-related visits. ([live-club.de](https://live-club.de/haas-saele/die-haas-saele-frueher-und-jetzt))
The room sizes are also practical. The small hall accommodates up to 50 people, while the large hall can hold up to 220 people; in row seating, even up to 280 chairs are possible. According to the official description, the Haas Halls are used for concerts, theater performances, cabaret, and salsa evenings, but also for weddings, corporate events, conferences, birthdays, and other celebrations. Additionally, the terrace appears on the website as a noteworthy outdoor area and seasonally independent format, for example, during winter and mulled wine concepts with a view of the Bamberg Cathedral. Thus, the Haas Halls and their terrace are the right complement to the Live Club when an event needs more architecture, more space, and more creative freedom. ([live-club.de](https://live-club.de/haas-saele/die-haas-saele-frueher-und-jetzt))
Photos, Reviews, and the Impression on Site
Those searching for live club photos or live club reviews usually want more than just an address and time. The impression on site is indeed an important topic for this location because the Live Club not only provides information about events on its website but also impressions, service areas, and visitor information. The official FAQ page also explains that photography in the Live Club is only allowed for private purposes and the privacy of other guests must be respected. During concerts, photography may even be prohibited if the artists wish it, while press photographers require special accreditation. This is a useful note for many visitors: the atmosphere should be experienced without the evening losing its spontaneity due to constant photographing. ([neu.live-club.de](https://neu.live-club.de/service/faq-haeufig-gestellte-fragen))
From the available user data, a clear picture also emerges: with 4.1 stars and over 1,000 reviews, the Live Club is an established address with high local visibility. The website itself supports this impression because it consolidates social media links, event pages, and program brochures, showing that the location is constantly in motion. Those who want to inform themselves in advance will find current event notices, impressions, ticket links, and clear rules for admission and behavior on the official pages. This makes the Live Club, for a search query about live club tecnet obermain e.v., not an officially documented connection, but certainly a location whose own brand character and event focus are clearly recognizable. For guests, in the end, the overall impression remains important: central location, constant music profile, understandable rules, and a varied mix of concert, party, and old town evening. The band we saw was awesome and we had so much fun! Glad this place exists and would recommend to anyone looking for a gritty good time.

Crazy time! They can make anything you want if it's not on the menu! The best nightclub in Bamberg! Big venue room with nice light show and great music! I came on a Friday night and it was packed :) They probably have different music types on different nights. All in all the best place to go to party in Bamberg!

The place itself has a great flair. You have a nice interior with a smoking area inside. You'll almost forget how absolutely miserable the staff is. They will mess your orders up and are not able to calculate, change might as well be given out at random with how the bartenders count the money.

Lot better than Ludwig apparently. Friendly staff and cheap booze on Mondays best place to hangout as an Erasmus student.
