Golf Course Gut Leimershof | Tee Times & Reviews

The Golf Course Gut Leimershof in Breitengüßbach near Bamberg is a place where sports, landscape, and hospitality play a very close role together. Those looking for tee times, reviews, or photos quickly come across a facility that consciously presents itself as a nature-oriented golf course with a strong regional connection. Officially, the facility is described as an 18-hole golf course in a picturesque Franconian hilly landscape, nestled near the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bamberg. The tourism association speaks of a hilly course with water hazards and the special feature that guests are welcome. At the same time, the municipality of Breitengüßbach describes Leimershof as a popular local recreation area with a golf course and experiential gastronomy. This very mix makes the location interesting for golfers, but also for beginners and visitors: it is not just a place to play, but a place with atmosphere, background, and a clearly recognizable identity. Tee Times and Reservation in Leimershof

When users search for tee times for the Golf Course Gut Leimershof, it usually involves two things: how to book a tee time and how the game operation runs on site? On the website, a tee time reservation is directly visible, and in the contract information, it is explicitly mentioned that for use with 180 holes, tee times must be booked. This is a strong signal that organized time slots form a fixed part of the process. The secretariat supports this as a central point of contact and informs according to the website about usage types, green fees, and general questions regarding the facility. The office hours are currently Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:00 and Saturday from 09:00 to 14:00; different times may apply during the winter season. Therefore, those who want to check tee times at short notice or clarify organizational questions will find a clear, service-oriented process here. ([leimershof-golfanlage.de](https://www.leimershof-golfanlage.de/?utm_source=openai))

For guests, this process is particularly important because Leimershof does not appear as a secluded private area, but as an open golf facility with clear rules and understandable access. The tourism association explicitly names the facility as guest-friendly, and the website refers to green fee offers as well as the possibility to inform oneself about the golf course and its usage types. Therefore, those who are not members can still look forward to a structured visit. This is relevant for search queries like tee times, green fees, or offered services because the user does not have to struggle through hard-to-access information but quickly reaches the important contact and service points. In practice, this means: plan your arrival, inquire or reserve a tee time, contact the secretariat if necessary, and enjoy a round on a course that is suitable for both ambitious players and recreational golfers. 18-Hole Golf Course, Natural Scenery, and Sporting Challenge

The core sporting idea of the Golf Course Gut Leimershof is clear: a full-fledged 18-hole course that is scenically appealing and challenging to play. The tourism association classifies the facility with a handicap of 45 and describes it as hilly with water hazards. The official website complements this picture with the formulation that the playing areas harmoniously blend into the landscape and are characterized by meadows, trees, forest edges, hedges, and water areas. This not only creates a beautiful sight but also a course that wants to be played tactically. Elevation differences, obstacles, and changing perspectives ensure that every round feels different and does not become monotonous. For this reason, the course suits both golfers seeking sporting precision and those who prefer a relaxed round in a beautiful environment. This combination of playability and natural scenery is one of the strongest features of the facility and also explains why the location is so present in search queries related to photos and reviews. ([frankentourismus.de](https://www.frankentourismus.de/poi/golfanlage_gut_leimershof-6371/))

Particularly characteristic is the nature focus that Leimershof exhibits not only as a marketing idea but as a real concept. On the page Golf and Nature, the facility describes that the areas are directly integrated into the landscape and that additional habitats have been created for over a year. Flower meadows serve as habitats for bees, hedges and bushes provide shelter for small animals, water areas are maintained with the support of a fish farmer, and trees are treated so that they can offer refuge to insects and other organisms. Even golf course honey is available at the secretariat. This is more than just a nice detail: it shows a facility that does not see nature conservation and sports as opposites but as a common profile. Therefore, those looking for a golf course in the Bamberg region will find not only 18 holes here but also a very consciously designed environment with a recognizable biodiversity approach. ([leimershof-golfanlage.de](https://www.leimershof-golfanlage.de/anlage/golf-natur/))

Offered Services: Secretariat, Clubhouse, Driving Range, and Café

In terms of offered services, Gut Leimershof shows its practical side. According to the usage agreement, the facility includes not only the 18 playing holes but also practice areas, driving range, putting green, outdoor facilities, and clubhouse. This infrastructure is crucial for many search queries because users not only want to know that a golf course exists but also what services and practice areas are specifically available. The secretariat acts as an information center: green fees can be redeemed there, one can inform oneself about usage types, and typically receives a response to email inquiries within 24 hours. For guests, this means an uncomplicated contact option, and for members, a central point of contact in daily game operations. This is complemented by an open, service-oriented appearance of the facility that is aimed at both visitors and new golfers. ([leimershof-golfanlage.de](https://www.leimershof-golfanlage.de/anlage/mitglied-werden/))

Among the practical services is also the gastronomy. The café of the facility is separately designated and has its own opening hours: Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00 and Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00. The menu includes various drinks, from beer to hot drinks to soft drinks, and seasonal refreshments are also offered. This makes Leimershof attractive not only as a sports facility but also as a place to stay. Those who want to sit together after a round, have a drink, or simply enjoy the atmosphere have the opportunity to do so on site. Particularly important is the combination of golf and public accessibility: the golf school describes the clubhouse as open to guests, and the municipality explicitly names Leimershof as a local recreation area with experiential and event gastronomy. This strengthens the impression of a location that was not only built for teeing off but for a complete visit with stay, encounters, and breaks. ([leimershof-golfanlage.de](https://www.leimershof-golfanlage.de/anlage/cafe/?utm_source=openai))

Course Qualification, Golf School, and Entry for Rookies

A central theme for the Golf Course Gut Leimershof is the entry into the sport of golf. The golf school is consciously aimed at people without prior knowledge. The FAQ on the entry page clarifies that one does not have to be athletic to start and that even older people can easily learn to play golf. Initially, no personal clubs are needed for the course; rental clubs and practice balls are provided. Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and flat sports shoes with good grip are recommended. The entry consists of four teaching units of 120 minutes each, in which basic techniques, course walk, safety, and rules are taught. After that, the course permission or course qualification is confirmed. This is a strong argument for search queries related to course qualification, tee times, and offered services because Leimershof offers not only a playing area but also a complete learning environment. ([leimershof-golfanlage.de](https://www.leimershof-golfanlage.de/golfschule/einstieg/))

After the entry, it continues directly in Leimershof with clearly structured follow-up offers. The page Club54 describes a weekly rookie training for golfers with HCPI +54 to +45. The training lasts 90 minutes, takes place on Thursdays from 18:30, and costs 19 euros per person. The meeting point is the driving range. The content focuses on technique, tactics, and game understanding, but also on the social element, i.e., getting to know like-minded people. In addition, rookies can play for free until December 31 of the same calendar year after obtaining their course qualification. This makes the entry not only educational but also motivating. Therefore, those looking for a golf course, course qualification, or Club54 will find in Gut Leimershof a particularly closed system from the first contact to regular play. The facility thus offers not only the course but also the accompanying development from beginner to experienced player. Directions to Breitengüßbach and Regional Location near Bamberg

The location of the Golf Course Gut Leimershof is another significant advantage. According to the tourism association, Breitengüßbach is located on the Main Cycle Path and is a good starting point for excursions in the region. The municipality also describes a direct connection to the A73 Nuremberg, which makes driving uncomplicated in principle. Leimershof itself is portrayed in the community profile as a district or estate with a long history: The estate was first mentioned in a document in 1237, sold to private individuals in the 16th century, acquired by the Bamberg Jesuits as a recreation house in 1615, and later privatized again during the secularization. Today, the place is a popular local recreation area with an 18-hole golf course and an original experiential and event gastronomy. This historical depth and good transport connections together create a profile that goes beyond just a sports facility. ([frankentourismus.de](https://www.frankentourismus.de/orte/breitenguessbach-642/))

For the regional classification, it is also important that Leimershof does not appear isolated in the perception of the municipality and tourism but is part of a larger leisure and cultural space. Breitengüßbach refers to a broad mix of nature, recreation, sports, and regional infrastructure. The golf course is located in direct proximity to other leisure offers, is actively mentioned by the municipality and FrankenTourismus, and is anchored in the Obermain.Jura region. This not only strengthens the visibility of the location but also makes it interesting for people who want to combine a trip to Bamberg or the surrounding Upper Franconia with a round of golf. The location between nature and city is not a side note here but a real unique selling point: those in the city can quickly reach the course; those seeking peace can find it on the grounds themselves. For this reason, Leimershof functions as a golf destination, local recreation area, and regional meeting point at the same time. Reviews, Atmosphere, and the Special Leimershof Feeling

In search queries related to reviews, not only the rating is usually of interest but also the overall feeling on site. The homepage of the golf course highlights a public feedback that describes the course as very well maintained and praises the friendly staff as well as the pleasant ambiance. Although a single feedback certainly does not replace a complete overall evaluation, it fits well with the picture drawn by the other official sources: a facility with a nature focus, clear service, guest-friendly orientation, and an atmosphere that does not feel anonymous. The tourism association puts it directly: guests are welcome. The website emphasizes community, sporting challenge, and the desire to shape a sustainable future. In combination, this creates the impression of a place that works not only for tournaments or membership but also for relaxed rounds, introductory courses, and visits to the café. ([leimershof-golfanlage.de](https://www.leimershof-golfanlage.de/?utm_source=openai))

This is precisely where the strength of Golf Course Gut Leimershof lies: the location fulfills many search intentions simultaneously. Those looking for photos find a visually strong nature facility. Those searching for offered services find a secretariat, golf lessons, clubhouse, café, and practice areas. Those looking for tee times encounter a clear tee time logic and contacts on site. And those searching for reviews recognize a facility that scores with maintenance, friendliness, and atmosphere. For golfers who are traveling in Upper Franconia or around Bamberg, Leimershof is therefore not just another course on the map but a versatile destination with character. The mix of 18 holes, nature, history, education, and service makes the facility particularly adaptable for different visitor groups. This is the kind of profile that works well both in search engines and in the real visitor experience. ([frankentourismus.de](https://www.frankentourismus.de/poi/golfanlage_gut_leimershof-6371/))

Those who want to combine golf with landscape, learning with joy, and a sporty round with a real place experience will find a convincing combination at Gut Leimershof. The facility is not loud, not arbitrary, and not interchangeable but is clearly anchored in its region. Between Bamberg, Hohengüßbach, and Breitengüßbach, a golf destination is created here that brings together tradition, nature, and the present. This makes Leimershof interesting for both beginners with course qualification and experienced players. And that is precisely why it is worth searching for tee times, photos, or reviews: it leads to a golf course that offers far more than just a round on the green. Good course, in very good condition on a beautiful autumn day. It plays quite long, no two holes the same and lots to think about.

A beautiful golf course. The entire area is very spacious, incredibly well-maintained, and you can really unwind here. There’s a pleasant calm everywhere and the view is truly breathtaking. The fairways and especially the greens are in top condition and make every round a real pleasure. You can tell how much care is put into maintaining the facility. If you want to play golf in a relaxed manner while enjoying a great landscape, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

The course is not easy to play in dry conditions. Often the holes are not too long, but the greens are well hidden. The greens are not in the best condition. At some pin positions, the ball bounces off in strange directions. On some holes, you have to tee off carefully to avoid landing in a penalty area. It goes up and down, and you should be fit if you're carrying your bag or have a manual trolley. Better to take a cart. Anyone who knows Leimershof from the simulator will be surprised by the elevation changes.
