Freizeitreitstall Schammelsdorf | Prices & Reviews
The Freizeitreitstall Schammelsdorf is a versatile horse farm in Schammelsdorf near Litzendorf, which consciously does not feel like a faceless riding operation, but rather like a place with personality, structure, and a lot of closeness to horses. The official website shows an offer that ranges from riding lessons for children, teenagers, and adults to pony school, trail rides, and therapeutic riding, as well as children's birthdays, riding badge courses, and boarding horses. At the same time, the farm repeatedly emphasizes the well-being of the animals, the calm atmosphere on the premises, and the joy of learning with horses. The operation was opened in 2017 by Sven Friedrich together with his wife Katja and their son Ben, and this family background shapes the entire appearance. Those looking for reviews, prices, or photos will not find an anonymous mass location here, but a farm with a clear focus on leisure, education, nature, and personal care. Many offers are organized through the online riding book, making it easy to book lessons, courses, and special formats. Reviews and Honest First Impression
The available reviews convey a very positive image: visitors describe quick feedback, a relaxed atmosphere while riding, friendly people, and well-kept horses. It is particularly noticeable that several voices not only praise the service but also the way the farm interacts with horses and riding students. It is not just about a beautiful backdrop, but about trust, cleanliness, patience, and a noticeably loving care. This aligns well with the official self-presentation of the operation, which explicitly highlights the daily care of the horses, the turnout on pastures and paddocks, and a pleasant environment for families. Those looking for reviews often seek an honest first impression, and exactly this impression is provided by the existing evaluations: friendly, clean, well-organized, and with a strong focus on the well-being of the animals. The fact that inquiries are answered quickly, according to the reviews, speaks for a pragmatic and service-oriented operation that provides visitors with planning security. ([freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de](https://freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de/pensionspferde/))
Additionally, it is noticeable that the testimonials do not just describe individual moments but show a recurring pattern. There are mentions of well-kept facilities, horses that appear healthy and balanced, and staff who are friendly and patient. This combination is crucial for many families and leisure riders when searching for a riding school or leisure riding stable in the region. The farm itself underscores this impression with a language that conveys warmth and reliability: horses of different types, offers for various age groups, and an environment where one enjoys staying after a ride or a lesson. Thus, a consistent image emerges from reviews and official external presentation. The Freizeitreitstall Schammelsdorf does not appear as a mere service address, but as a place where people spend time with horses, learn, and consciously experience leisure. This makes the location particularly interesting for inquiries about reviews, photos, and personal impressions. ([freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de](https://freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de/))
Prices, Riding Book, and Booking for Riding Lessons and Pony School
Those looking for prices will find a clearly structured price overview with monthly models and individual offers on the official website. Riding lessons are organized through an online riding book, and billing is done according to the price page via monthly SEPA direct debit on the 3rd of each month. For regular riding lessons, there are various options, including lunge lessons, individual lessons, pair lessons, and group lessons. The farm transparently explains that this is a mixed calculation, where months with five appointments are not charged extra, and holidays or public holidays do not change the monthly fee. This creates predictability for families who want to come regularly. At the same time, there is a minimum term of six months and a notice period of eight weeks to the end of the quarter. This information is important for anyone looking for a reliable training spot rather than just a single appointment. ([freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de](https://freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de/preise/))
Particularly helpful is the combination of subscription offers, gift cards, and trial riding lessons. According to the official price list, the monthly costs for lunge lessons are approximately €96.00, for individual lessons over 30 minutes €165.00, for the 45-minute individual lesson €230.00, for the pair lesson €129.00 or €192.00, and for the group lesson €119.00. Those who prefer to book flexibly can use gift cards to book guided forest walks, pony rides, guided trail rides, riding therapy, or children's birthdays. Additionally, the pony school offers are priced at €85.00 for minis and €120.00 for maxis per month. Trial riding lessons are also listed separately, such as for lunge lessons, individual lessons, or group lessons. This covers both beginners and advanced riders and provides clear price ranges for families, children, and adults who want to try out which offer suits them best. ([freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de](https://freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de/preise/))
Directions, Address, and Contact in Schammelsdorf
The official address is Kremmeldorfer Strasse, 96123 Schammelsdorf. Sven Friedrich is named as the responsible person in the imprint, and the contact email is info@freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de. Additionally, the phone number 09505/7330 appears in the further identifiable company and association information. For those searching for directions, address, or location, it is particularly important that the farm is not located in the middle of an anonymous city center, but in a rural part of Schammelsdorf, which fits well with the character of a leisure riding stable. The website also recommends that riding students arrive about 15 minutes early on the day of their first lesson to prepare the horse in peace. This shows that arrival and preparation are not intended to be points of stress but rather part of the visit experience. ([freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de](https://freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de/impressum/))
Those searching with the term directions often expect practical tips for orientation. The official site primarily focuses on address, contact, and booking logic, which is sufficient for many visitors to plan their way to the farm. Since the operation is geared towards regular riding lessons, children's courses, and trail rides, a clear and recurring arrival is important. This is why the fixed information on the address and contact options is helpful. It is also interesting that the farm consolidates its offers through a riding book and relies on appointment scheduling. This means in plain terms: those arriving should not expect spontaneous availability but should book or inquire in advance as much as possible. For families with children, riding students, and guests coming for pony rides, a birthday, or a trail ride, this is a plus because it makes the visit predictable and reduces waiting times. Thus, a location profile emerges that fits well with the search terms address, directions, and Kremmeldorfer Straße. ([freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de](https://freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de/service-info/))
Riding Lessons, Pony School, and Event Rides for Children and Adults
The heart of the farm is the extensive riding and learning offer. The Freizeitreitstall Schammelsdorf offers riding lessons for children, teenagers, and adults, explicitly for both beginners and advanced riders. The official riding lesson page describes several forms of instruction: individual lessons on the lunge for beginners, classic individual lessons of 30 or 45 minutes, pair lessons for advanced riders, group lessons with three to five participants, as well as jumping and cavaletti work and ground or free work. This makes it clear that the farm does not only offer pony riding but also structured lessons with different learning objectives. Beginners can be gradually introduced to movements, seat, and safety, while advanced riders work on technique, aids, balance, and fine coordination with the horse. According to the website, the trainers bring experience, qualifications, and a mix of pedagogy and riding practice. ([freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de](https://freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de/reitunterricht/))
Particularly strong is the pony school, which was founded in 2017 and works according to teamponyconcept. It is aimed at children from three years old and offers fixed playgroups, playful knowledge transfer on and off the pony, as well as a nature-connected environment. The course times are spread throughout the week, the courses run continuously, and take place in all weather conditions. The website also mentions a heated riding room, as well as coffee and chilled drinks at the farm, which further emphasizes the family character. In addition to the pony school, guided trail rides, private rides, themed rides with special goals, and seasonal offers such as mulled wine rides are also part of the profile. The program is supplemented by therapeutic riding, FN riding badge courses, activities with kindergartens and schools, and birthday formats. Those looking for a place where riding is not only a sport but also an experience, a learning space, and leisure activity will find a very broad spectrum here. ([freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de](https://freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de/ponyschule/))
Photos, Impressions, and the Facility with Riding Hall and Stables
Search inquiries for photos are particularly relevant at a horse farm because many visitors want to see in advance how the facility looks and what horses they can expect. The Freizeitreitstall Schammelsdorf provides several points of connection for this: the website has a section with insights and a video about the farm, as well as dedicated pages for horses and ponies and for feeling good on the premises. The descriptions show an operation where different horse sizes and types are used, so that suitable animals are available for various rider weights, temperaments, and training levels. From the information on the horse and pony page, it also becomes clear that the farm does not only rely on individual school ponies but on a broader stock with different tasks in lessons, children's offers, and trail rides. For visitors looking for photos, this is important because images here are not just decorative but are meant to convey the real character of the facility: friendly, well-kept, nature-connected, and family-oriented. ([freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de](https://freizeitreitstall-schammelsdorf.de/service-info/))
The facility itself is clearly described. The farm mentions 17 spacious box stalls measuring 4 x 4 meters, a riding hall measuring 10 x 35 meters, a 30 x 60 meter outdoor arena with ebb and flow system, as well as daily pasture and paddock use. Additionally, there is twice daily feeding, daily mucking out, and a commitment to quality in feed and bedding. For many riders, this combination of movement, care, and structured training is crucial when searching for a stable for their own horse or a teaching location. The fact that the farm also mentions a sun terrace, snacks, ice cream, and a warm room shows how strongly the quality of stay is taken into account here. One does not come only to ride but also to linger. Together with the images, the video, and the information about horses, ponies, and the facility, a very tangible impression emerges of why the location is often described as clean, friendly, and inviting in photos and reviews. I inquired the day before whether I could still go for a morning ride the following day. I received a very quick reply, initially saying it unfortunately wouldn't work out. However, a little later I got the message that a spot had been found for me after all. It was a lovely, relaxing ride with Sabrina. We trotted and cantered twice and enjoyed the views. Everything looked very clean and well-maintained, and everyone was friendly. Thank you so much, Wilma from the Netherlands

The best stable for schooling far and wide. Super-lovable horses of all sizes, friendly staff, and a great system behind it all. Because the horses are kept in the paddock as a herd, they get plenty of exercise.

My daughter has been taking riding lessons at this stable for several years and now comes more for trail rides than for lessons. She has learned a great deal and, thanks to the lessons tailored to her needs, is confident in all gaits – even without side reins. We are very satisfied, are treated very warmly, and feel very much at home. The riding instructors (I'm not using gender-inclusive language here!) are all very kind, empathetic, and patient. The entire facility is impeccably maintained, the horses are well cared for, and are in excellent health. The lessons aren't cheap, but the value for money is perfectly acceptable. After all, running a business like this costs a pretty penny. If you don't like it here, simply go somewhere else, but don't badmouth the owners' fantastic work. I have no connection to the owners and receive no benefit from this review. This reflects only my personal opinion!

For a week-long trail ride/journey, we stayed at the Schammelsdorf leisure riding stable. What did we experience and what did we see? Wonderful, helpful people, who even drove us (one flat tire and the spare tube had a hole), and a riding facility like no other I've ever seen—modern, highly functional, and spotlessly clean. Plus, great horses, funny goats, and kittens. Simply fantastic! The horses listed here have hit the jackpot! And so have their riders!

I've been with the Schammelsdorf Leisure Riding Stables since the beginning, and I can only say: It's simply a fantastic place! The lessons are high-quality and individually tailored to each individual. The farm is beautiful, the people are warm, and above all, you can tell that the animals are really well cared for here. Whether it's children, adults, those returning to riding, or anyone who wants to be active alongside their horse—there's something for everyone here. I feel completely at home here and wholeheartedly recommend the stable! ❤️
