BROSE ARENA | Tickets & Parking
The BROSE ARENA in Bamberg is one of the most important event venues in Upper Franconia and presents itself as a versatile multifunctional hall for sports, concerts, fairs, congresses, and gala formats. The operator describes it as the third largest multifunctional hall in Bavaria; at the same time, it is a central place for Bamberg Baskets, public events, and business events with a professional framework. Together with other locations in the portfolio, a wide range of formats from small to very large is covered. For those looking for address, directions, parking, tickets, or capacity, the arena is a classic information and booking address with high practical relevance. Anyone looking for a location with a clear structure, modern infrastructure, and a strong mix of emotion and function will find a place here that works equally well for sports fans, concertgoers, fair visitors, and organizers in everyday life. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/raeume-und-kapazitaeten/halle/))
Directions, Address, and Parking at BROSE ARENA
The official navigation address is Forchheimer Straße 15, 96050 Bamberg. The operator emphasizes that the BROSE ARENA is well connected to the road network as well as public transport, making it easy to reach by car or bus. Particularly important for visitors are the parking spaces S01 to S09, which are located directly around the arena and offer around 1,300 parking spaces. According to the official parking page, these spaces are not public and currently cost 4 euros per car per day for regular events. Parking is allowed only in marked areas, a visible parking ticket is mandatory, and electric vehicles also require a ticket. Additionally, camping and parking of motorhomes is not permitted. This combination of a clear address, dedicated visitor parking, and structured traffic management makes the journey comparatively transparent and planable. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/anfahrt-parken/))
If the direct parking offer is exhausted, supplementary mobility solutions apply for events with more than 2,500 visitors. A free bus shuttle operates from the P+R facilities Heinrichsdamm and Kronacher Straße in Bamberg. The shuttle starts 75 minutes before the event begins, runs every 30 minutes, and ends 40 minutes after the event; during the event, the shuttle service is suspended. This is particularly practical for concert and sports evenings, as it spreads out the arrival and maintains good planning even with large crowds. The shuttle connection is visible in the event information of the house, allowing visitors to check in advance whether the service is set up for their date. Those arriving by car thus find a pragmatic solution combining visitor parking, P+R offers, and clear visitor guidance. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/anfahrt-parken/parkmoeglichkeiten/))
Tickets, Public Transport, and Shuttle Service
When purchasing tickets, the BROSE ARENA refers to several established advance sales channels. Mentioned are the BVD ticket service in Bamberg as well as online platforms like Eventim, Etix, and Adticket. This is important for many visitors, as tickets can be flexibly secured in advance, and the arena acts not only as an event venue but also as a reliable booking address. Especially for highly demanded concerts or large sports evenings, early purchase is often advisable, as the arena regularly hosts programs with high reach and corresponding visitor interest. The homepage and event overview also show that the house offers a wide range of concert, sports, and fair formats, which is why the ticket landscape can vary significantly depending on the event. Those looking for orientation should always check the specific event entry first. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/tickets/))
Particularly attractive is the public transport regulation: The admission ticket serves as a ticket for all bus lines in the entire network of the Bamberg public utilities 1.5 hours before the start and up to 4 hours after the event begins. This facilitates arrival without an additional ticket and makes the visitor experience overall more relaxed. For major events, a free P+R shuttle complements this solution, ensuring that the arena remains easily accessible even at high capacity. The shuttle starts at the P+R facilities Heinrichsdamm and Kronacher Straße, and the official site also refers to the VGN app for real-time schedule information. Therefore, those buying tickets should always consider their journey: parking, bus use, and shuttle are not separate islands here, but part of a coordinated system. This is one of the reasons why the BROSE ARENA frequently appears in search queries together with tickets, directions, and parking. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/anfahrt-parken/anfahrt-mit-dem-oepnv/))
Capacity, Seating, and Technical Equipment
The BROSE ARENA is not only large but also flexible. The official hall page states a total floor area of 1,674 square meters, an indoor area of 1,180 square meters, a southern stage extension of 494 square meters, and a clear height of 13 meters. These values show that the hall is designed for both sports and show production as well as for congress and fair setups. In various configurations, different audience numbers can be realized: the West and East stands each have between 1,200 and 1,400 seats, while the North stand has 1,400 seats. On the floor, there are 3,500 standing places, 1,200 seats in row seating, or 1,000 places in banquet and gala seating. For visitors looking for capacity, it is important to note: The capacity always depends on the specific event and the chosen seating variant. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/raeume-und-kapazitaeten/halle/))
Facilities include an LED video cube measuring 4.8 by 2.64 meters, a multifunctional large sound system, a television-compatible LED floodlight system with 1500 Lux, as well as Nivtec stage elements up to 240 square meters and a variable stage curtain system. Additionally, the arena provides several seating plans and variants in the download area, including basketball, entire hall standing, entire hall seated, half hall, and fair. This variety makes the BROSE ARENA interesting for organizers: it can be a sports arena, concert hall, fair space, or gala location without losing its character. Those planning the hall can therefore look not only at a number but at an adaptable room concept with well-documented variants. For SEO and user inquiries regarding capacity, seating plans, and equipment, the house thus provides reliable, concrete information. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/raeume-und-kapazitaeten/halle/))
Rooms, Lounge Areas, and Foyer for Business and Fairs
The BROSE ARENA is more than just the hall itself. On the foyer side, the operator describes three foyer areas on the west, east, and north sides with a total of 1,400 square meters. Together with the indoor area, this results in around 3,000 square meters of fair space, making the location attractive for exhibitions, product presentations, and accompanying event formats. In the entrance area, there is also a modern LCD band with 16 displays that can be used for greetings, event information, or advertising content. For organizers, this is a clear advantage, as guest pathways, information management, and brand presentation can be spatially well connected. Those looking for photos, atmosphere, and visual impressions will find a location here that consciously focuses on space, structure, and digital presence rather than narrow or improvised room solutions. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/raeume-und-kapazitaeten/foyerbereich/))
Particularly interesting for business and conference inquiries is the modernly equipped business area. The Business Lounge covers around 640 square meters and offers up to 400 seats in row seating, 180 seats in parliamentary seating, or 350 seats in banquet and gala seating. It is complemented by the Premium Lounge with 84 square meters, 50 seats in row seating, or 60 seats in gala format, as well as a 100 square meter rooftop terrace overlooking the cathedral hill and nine individually furnished boxes. Additional presentation technology, projector, screen, monitors, Wi-Fi, and a permanently installed sound system are also available. In the company profile, the operator also refers to 4 locations with 1 contact and capacities ranging from 70 to 7,000 people. This makes it clear: the BROSE ARENA is part of a larger event portfolio and is not just a single hall, but a scalable system for different event sizes. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/raeume-und-kapazitaeten/business-lounge/))
Events, Program, and Typical Event Formats in Bamberg
The BROSE ARENA is a classic multipurpose venue for a very broad audience. On the homepage and in the event overview, the categories concert and entertainment, fairs and exhibitions, as well as sports are clearly visible. The operator also regularly mentions concerts and basketball as core uses, while the official Bamberg tourism page describes the arena as a location for Bamberg Baskets, concerts, music events, fairs, and congresses. This mixture explains why search queries are often linked with programs, events, and current dates. Those researching the arena are usually not only looking for the building but also for what happens there. The BROSE ARENA is therefore a place that connects very different target groups throughout the year: sports fans, concertgoers, fair visitors, job seekers, and audiences for show formats. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/events/?utm_source=openai))
The current dates on the official website clearly show this variety. Listed are, among others, Bamberg Baskets games, the Job Fair Franken 2026, the Real Estate Fair Franken, tour evenings like Dark Tenor, Michael Patrick Kelly, Unheilig, Fäaschtbänkler, WAHNSINN! THE SHOW, Amon Amarth, or Ralf Schmitz. Additionally, special formats like Kanonenfest 2026, which is clearly linked to cannon fever in search results. This is relevant for SEO selection because search queries often arise specifically through artist names or fair titles and then lead directly to the arena. The BROSE ARENA benefits here from a strong mix of live entertainment and fair expertise that has been visibly built up in Bamberg over many years. Therefore, those looking for the program will not find a niche address but an active arena with a regularly updated, broad calendar. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/events/jobmesse-franken-2026-2/?utm_source=openai))
Accessibility, House Rules, and Practical Visitor Information
For visitors with mobility impairments, the BROSE ARENA offers concrete solutions. Wheelchair spaces are available for each event, for which special tickets are required in advance. Guests with a disability ID marked aG find reserved parking directly at the main entrance, from where they can access the building at ground level via a ramp. Additionally, the gastronomy areas on the ground floor are accessible, and there are accessible restrooms in the foyer. These details are practically important because accessibility in the arena is implemented not just as a general promise but as concrete infrastructure with tickets, pathways, and sanitary offerings. ([brose-arena.de](https://brose-arena.de/barrierefreiheit/?utm_source=openai))
The house rules are also clearly formulated. Visitors need a valid admission ticket, must take their assigned seat, and may only use the designated entrances. Smoking is prohibited in the arena, and bag checks may occur. Prohibited items include weapons, pyrotechnics, glass containers, outside food and drinks, drugs, animals without special permission, and audio or visual recording devices for commercial purposes. For youth protection, the relevant legal provisions apply; the arena additionally explains in its own notes that children and adolescents may have different access requirements depending on the type of event. It is also interesting for the stay that the arena provides its own gastronomic offerings on site, allowing visitors to purchase snacks and drinks there. Thus, those visiting the BROSE ARENA benefit not only from a well-connected hall but also from clear rules, transparent visitor guidance, and a service concept that combines safety and comfort.
Nice location and environment. Live music, shows in between periods, and comfortable. If you're going by walk, sometimes they offer a shuttle bus because the arena is far from the city center. It is a free service and you can confirm its availability online. No beverages are allowed inside, but food is. Good place to go with kids, family, friends, or even alone. Prices change depending on the importance of the match.

One of the most prominent arenas in Bamberg. I was fortunate to have watched the professional basketball match. The vibe of the stadium is unmatched. There is plenty of parking space near the stadium. Otherwise, you can also take a city bus from Zob. Ensure to check for the bus timings on the DB app.

Big enough for basketball games and events like the "Feuerwerk der Turnkunst". It also has a parking lot, which is important because finding a place to park before an event there is impossible! You have to pay though (1-3€). It is very organized and thanks to the many signs hanging there, you can easily find your seat!

I am visiting from the USA and we decided to try Cocoon/Asian food. The food was awesome. Drinks were great and all in all the atmosphere was very pleasant. Definitely recommend for teenagers and adults.
