Bamberger Haus | Curling & Menu

The Bamberger Haus is one of those Munich locations that tells more than just an address at first glance. Located at Brunnerstraße 2 on the edge of Luitpoldpark, the house combines history, gastronomy, and event culture in a compact space. The building dates back to a villa from 1912, was destroyed in World War II, and rebuilt in 1983; in today's rooms, historical charm meets modern use. Today, the estate houses a restaurant, a beer garden, several event rooms, and an extensive outdoor area, making it particularly attractive for celebrations, weddings, conferences, and seasonal formats. This very mix is the reason why inquiries about the menu, parking, opening hours, weddings, and curling converge here so strongly. Visitors to the Bamberger Haus not only get a destination in the green but a true experience location with imperial flair, seasonal highlights, and versatile usage options. The location in the middle of Luitpoldpark makes the house both urban and tranquil, central and nature-connected. For visitors, this means: uncomplicated access, green surroundings, plenty of space, and an ambiance that consciously sets itself apart from typical restaurant or event addresses. Curling in the Winter Magic of the Bamberger Haus

When the search term curling is associated with the Bamberger Haus in winter, it is not about a marginal offer, but rather a fixed part of the brand identity. The house transforms its garden into a winter wonderland with curling lanes, mulled wine, winter delicacies, and an atmosphere that resembles an urban chalet more than an ordinary restaurant. The current winter page mentions the period from November to early March and explicitly describes the fun on the in-house lanes in any weather. Additionally, the banquet brochure explains that three lanes are available in the garden. The website makes it clear that curling here is not just leisure fun, but also serves as a building block for company parties, Christmas celebrations, kick-off formats, and private winter events. The transition from play to the warm house is particularly attractive: after the match, guests move to the cozy Salettl or the indoor areas, where food, drinks, and socializing seamlessly follow. According to the winter page, standard and deluxe formats can be booked, with the deluxe variant including three hours of curling along with food and drinks. This is particularly exciting for teams looking for a shared experience that doesn't feel too stiff but is still professionally organized. The current tone of the location fits this: friendly, uncomplicated, and yet clearly focused on special occasions. For all those seeking something extraordinary in Munich during winter, the Bamberger Haus offers a combination of movement, fun, and festive atmosphere, suitable for both small groups and larger gatherings. Menu, Beer Garden, and Restaurant between Bavaria and Austria

The culinary profile of the Bamberger Haus is at least as important for search intentions related to the menu and beer garden as the event world. In the restaurant, the house welcomes its guests under chandeliers, frescoes, and in the venerable Francesco vault with a cuisine that considers itself an imperial-royal court kitchen. According to the official description, the culinary line ranges from Austria through Hungary to Lake Constance and the Adriatic, with regional products and traditional recipes from the dual monarchy of Austria-Hungary being reinterpreted. This not only sounds noble but also explains why the house is interesting for both connoisseurs and event guests alike. Additionally, the beer garden opens in nice weather and offers a daily changing, fine beer garden menu from cold to warm. The beer garden menu features Bavarian and Franconian specialties, along with Augustiner from the tap or wooden barrel, wine, and refreshing drinks. For group reservations, there is a specific system with a snack board, which is possible up to 48 hours in advance. This mix makes the Bamberger Haus particularly strong in searches for guests who want to connect atmosphere and cuisine consciously, rather than just sitting anywhere. The opening hours also emphasize the character of the location: the restaurant operates with clear evening and weekend hours, the terrace is open until 11 PM, and the beer garden remains a magnet on nice days. So, those searching for Bamberger Haus menu, Bamberger Haus beer garden, or Bamberger Haus opening hours are often actually looking for a place that combines good food, historical backdrop, and relaxed outdoor enjoyment. This is precisely where the strength of this address lies. ([bambergerhaus.com](https://www.bambergerhaus.com/restaurant))

Weddings at the Bamberger Haus with Garden, Salettl, and Luitpoldsaal

For inquiries related to weddings, the Bamberger Haus is particularly well-equipped because the location unites several very different moods under one roof. The official wedding page emphasizes that weddings are possible here all year round, both in winter and summer. Civil ceremonies can take place in the garden or in the light-flooded Salettl, while the aperitif on the terrace and the evening program in the Luitpoldsaal provide a very festive setting. The Luitpoldsaal on the first floor is described as the heart of the location and offers a baroque ambiance with chandeliers, intricate stucco, and elegant parquet. The Francesco vault, on the other hand, brings a relaxed, rustic note with a Mediterranean flair into the planning and is suitable for larger, sociable celebrations with direct access to the garden and terraces. The Salettl, completed in 2020, complements the ensemble as a bright event building made of wood and glass and functions both for receptions and civil ceremonies as well as conferences. This versatility is crucial because weddings today often require more than just a hall: an outdoor reception, a stylish dinner setting, a dance area, and ideally a weatherproof plan B. The Bamberger Haus provides exactly that. Additionally, the rooms are clearly named and equipped with capacities, which is important for planning: the Luitpoldsaal is designed for 50 to 100 seated persons, the Francesco vault for larger celebrations, and the Salettl can accommodate high guest numbers both indoors and outdoors. So, those searching for Bamberger Haus wedding or Bamberger Haus wedding costs are often not just looking for a price but for a place with character, flexibility, and a convincing backdrop for dignified celebrations. Parking, Access, and Location at Luitpoldpark in Schwabing

The location is one of the strongest advantages of the Bamberger Haus. The house is located at the western entrance of Luitpoldpark, in a part of Munich that is green, central, and yet well-connected. The banquet brochure describes the connection with only about 30 minutes to the airport, approximately 10 minutes to the main train station, and a direct subway and tram connection via Scheidplatz with U2 and U3. Additionally, the location plans show buses, subways, and trams in the immediate vicinity. For visitors specifically searching for parking or access, it is important to note: official and industry-related sources mention parking options directly at the house and in the immediate surroundings. One factsheet source mentions 30 parking spaces plus public parking spaces, while another mentions 40 available parking spaces and a truck access. This does not mean that every occasion has identical conditions, but it clearly shows that the house has a significantly better logistical basis compared to many downtown locations. This is a great advantage, especially for weddings, corporate events, film shoots, and group arrivals. Added to this is the charm of the park itself: those who want to take a few minutes to stroll in Luitpoldpark before or after their visit find a generous, quiet green space right at the door. This transforms an appointment into not just a stay but almost a small excursion. This combination of city, nature, and accessibility is one of the reasons why the Bamberger Haus appears so frequently in searches like Bamberger Haus parking, Bamberger Haus access, and Bamberger Haus Luitpoldpark. The address works just as well for Munich residents as for guests from outside who are looking for an event-friendly location with clear orientation and usable infrastructure. Rooms for Conferences, Corporate Parties, and Private Events

The Bamberger Haus is not only a restaurant and wedding venue but a multi-layered event location with different rooms and usage scenarios. The official rooms page describes the house as a versatile address for private and business gatherings, outdoors or in inviting rooms, exclusive or casual. This is particularly evident in the individual spaces: the Luitpoldsaal on the bel étage forms the baroque centerpiece for exclusive moments and conference-like formats, the Francesco vault brings vault character and generous event suitability, and the Ferdinand room offers a more intimate, elegant environment. The Ludwigs Salettl expands the possibilities in the outdoor area, especially for receptions, civil ceremonies, summer parties, and conferences with plenty of daylight. According to the official page, the Luitpoldsaal accommodates 50 to 100 seated persons, the Salettl indoors up to 80 persons and outdoors up to 150, the Francesco up to 170 seated, and the Ferdinand up to 90 seated. The banquet brochure adds to the dimensions of the premises with around 2,800 square meters of land area and over 400 square meters of sun terrace. This is gold for organizers because it allows for both small, formal meetings and larger festive formats to be planned. Technically, the house is also prepared: the factsheet source mentions screen, flipchart, Wi-Fi on request, sound system, lighting system, DJ system, stage, projector, air conditioning, elevator, and freight elevator. This information is particularly relevant for searches related to event locations and reviews because it clearly demonstrates the practical side of the location. The Bamberger Haus is thus not only beautiful but also professionally usable. Those planning conferences, corporate parties, incentives, Christmas parties, or private celebrations will find a location here that is not just a backdrop but a functioning framework. Opening Hours, Reservations, and Practical Information for Your Visit

For smooth planning, the practical details of the Bamberger Haus are particularly important, as the opening hours are consciously organized seasonally and based on usage. The current restaurant page states Tuesday to Friday from 5 PM to midnight, Saturday from noon to midnight, and Sunday and public holidays from noon to 5 PM; additionally, the outdoor terrace is open until 11 PM. The contact page also lists the event office and winter beer garden, showing that the location strongly differentiates between restaurant operations, outdoor season, and event business. For reservations, it is generally recommended to make an inquiry for ten or more persons; the table is usually reserved for two hours and held for reservations from 7:30 PM until closing time. Those who do not show up risk a no-show fee according to the restaurant page, and a free cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before the appointment. In the beer garden, a reservation is offered up to 48 hours in advance with a snack board, which perfectly matches the sociable character of the house. These clear rules are important because they create transparency for visitors and guarantee planning for events. At the same time, a look at the seasonal pages shows that the Bamberger Haus remains flexible: in summer, the beer garden dominates with terrace and outdoor areas, while in winter, the winter magic with curling lanes and chalet atmosphere takes center stage. For guests, this means that the question of Bamberger Haus opening hours always also relates to the desired area, whether restaurant, beer garden, winter operation, or event. Those who book in advance benefit from a location that takes organization seriously while remaining hospitable. This combination of structure, atmosphere, and flexibility makes the Bamberger Haus one of the most interesting addresses in northern Munich. A nice location in a large walking park space. Good food (Currywurst, Pizza, Halbeshendl, etc.) and great Augustiner beer. The Winestübe makes a couple of excellent Lillet spritzers (berry and peach) that you had out to try. There's also an indoor area for colder months, and a playground for the kids. And no deposits on plates and glasses, either. How nice. About a 15 minute walk from the Milbertshofen U2 stop.

We had a truly wonderful evening at Das Bamberger Haus in Munich. The food was absolutely excellent, full of flavour, beautifully presented, and generously portioned. The Schnitzel with potato salad and the beef goulash with dumplings were particular standouts, cooked to perfection and deeply satisfying. What made our dining experience even more memorable was the exceptional service. Every member of the staff was warm and welcoming, creating a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere from the moment we walked in. A very special thank you to Giuseppe, who took outstanding care of us throughout the evening. He went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect, no request was too much, and his thoughtful recommendations truly elevated our experience. Giuseppe made us feel completely at home, and his attentiveness and charm were genuinely appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to Giuseppe and the entire team at Das Bamberger Haus. We're already looking forward to returning on our next trip to Munich.

Very cute beer garden. Had a nice cold beer on a hot summer day. Also had their pretzels. I enjoyed sitting out in the beer garden with everybody else. Ambience was really nice.
