Mozart's Opera as a Puppet Production in Bamberg

The Bamberg Puppet Theater presents Mozart's opera The Magic Flute in a special form: as a puppet production. On December 12, 2026, the work will be staged at the Staubschen House in Bamberg.

The performance combines the well-known opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with the traditional art of puppet theater. Instead of a classical opera production, the audience can expect a staging with moving figures and a specially designed stage world. This creates a unique theater experience that combines music and puppetry.
