Golden Varieties: A magnificent journey into the world of variety shows

On October 24, 2026, the Brasserie La Villa in Bamberg will transform into a salon full of elegance, wit, and nostalgic stage magic. The Dinner Show Golden Varieties combines an exclusive 4-course menu with a 1920s revue, taking its audience into the dazzling world of Berlin salons and variety theaters.

Variety art between magic, ventriloquism, and singing

At the center of the evening are Marcelini and Thomas Meyer. Marcelini presents magic, ventriloquism, singing, and charming stories from an era when couplets, original props, and elegant entertainment thrilled audiences. Thomas Meyer accompanies the revue on the piano, imparting a characteristic salon atmosphere to the musical moments.

A revue with historical flair

The production draws from the stage art of the golden 1920s and 1930s. Classic variety elements meet humor, music, and the art of ventriloquism. Forgotten couplets and songs are brought to life again, while evergreens and pointed stories dramaturgically connect the evening.

Enjoyment and theatrical atmosphere in the Brasserie La Villa

The stage experience is accompanied by a 4-course menu served by Markus Zimmer and his team at Brasserie La Villa. French and Mediterranean influences shape the culinary concept of the house. Thus, an evening is created where acting, acoustics, lighting mood, and gastronomy merge into a special cultural event.

An evening for fans of classic entertainment

Golden Varieties focuses on a traditional form of cabaret and translates its charm into a contemporary dinner format. The audience's reaction thrives on the immediate closeness between the stage and guests: every magic trick, every musical punchline, and every grotesque ventriloquist figure unfolds its effect directly in the space.

Conclusion: Visitors can expect a stylish variety evening with magic, music, humor, and fine cuisine. Those who wish to experience the atmosphere of past salons and combine cultural enjoyment with a festive dinner will experience an extraordinary stage event at the Brasserie La Villa.
