CANCELLED: Freshman Hike in Bamberg – the semester opening is cancelled
The Freshman Hike planned for Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in Bamberg has been cancelled. The university and program-wide semester opening was supposed to start at 10:00 PM with a night full of club hopping, music, and encounters.
A night, two locations
The concept focused on limitless clubbing: With one ticket, guests should have been able to switch between the LUDWIG and the Live Club and experience the party in both locations. Exclusive drink specials and a music mix of current hits, HipHop, and electronic sounds were planned.
Cancellation by the organizer
The Live Club announced that the organizer had taken the event offline. After unsuccessful attempts to contact, the party was removed from the program in coordination with Club LUDWIG.
Important note for ticket holders
Guests who have already purchased a ticket should contact the student initiative SemesterStart directly for a refund. Tickets purchased were originally transferable.
Conclusion
The planned club experience with party atmosphere, changing dance floors, and a diverse music mix will not take place on October 14, 2026. Already purchased tickets should be submitted to the organizer for a refund in a timely manner.
