Read aloud, craft, and marvel at the Bamberg City Library
On Saturday, November 14, 2026, the Bamberg City Library will transform into a cozy meeting place for young book fans. The reading morning for children aged 4 to 7 years will focus on stories, shared listening, and a creative crafting activity.
A Child-Friendly Journey into the World of Stories
When a story is read aloud, children create their own images in their minds: characters get voices, adventures come to life, and curiosity grows page by page. The reading morning provides space for children's laughter, wonder, and quality time with other families.
Reading Promotion with Joy and Imagination
Reading aloud supports early childhood language development, expands vocabulary, and strengthens attention. The Bamberg City Library is already committed to early childhood reading promotion and offers events for children and adolescents. The program is age-appropriate and combines a relaxed learning experience with creative learning fun.
Getting Creative After Reading
After the story, the children will craft together. They can develop their own ideas, try out materials, and make their imagination visible. The creative crafting complements the reading in a child-friendly manner and provides a varied family experience in a protected indoor atmosphere.
