The Little Owl Brings Christmas Magic to Sassanfahrt
As the days get shorter outside, a lovingly designed winter world opens up for little theater fans at Sassanfahrt Castle. The picture book theater The Little Owl Celebrates Christmas invites children from 3 years old and their families to a heartwarming puppet show.
A Curious Owl Discovers Christmas
The little owl is way too curious to just sleep through winter. Together with her friends from the forest, she wants to find out what Christmas means and how to celebrate this special holiday. It’s about festive preparations, decorating together, gifts, and especially the joy of being together.
Child-friendly Puppet Show with Learning Fun
The production combines an understandable story with imaginative characters and a calm, age-appropriate narration style. Children experience how curiosity leads to new questions and how discovering, helping, and celebrating together creates community. The manageable play duration and the Christmas theme offer a suitable learning experience for younger children from 3 years old.
Family Time in a Historic Castle
Sassanfahrt Castle - Museum provides the atmospheric setting for this family experience. Children's laughter, wintry imagination, and the anticipation of Christmas make the theater visit a special time together. Admission starts 30 minutes before the show begins.
Important Information for Families
The performance starts on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 16:00. The admission fee is 10 euros per person. There is no advance sales or reservations. There are no parking spaces directly at the castle; designated options are available at the sports area on Heimstraße and at the cemetery on Adam-Krapp-Straße.
Conclusion: A Loving Start to the Christmas Season
The picture book theater gives families an imaginative break with a curious main character, wintery atmosphere, and a child-friendly story about friendship and celebrating together. Those looking for a warm, cultural family experience with children from 3 years old will enjoy a magical theater afternoon in Sassanfahrt.
