Cultural Buffet in Bamberg: Inclusion, Creativity, and Ten Years of KUFA Cultural Workshop
An evening that not only presents culture but also allows it to emerge together: The inclusive cultural factory KUFA – Culture for All celebrates on Sunday, November 15, 2026, the tenth anniversary of its Inclusive Cultural Workshop. At the Cultural Buffet at Ohmstraße 3, music, dance, theater, drumming, writing, videos, and culinary delights come together for a versatile multi-generational experience.
A Festive Opening with Sleeping Ann
At 5:00 PM, the band Sleeping Ann opens the Cultural Buffet. The program then unfolds in various spaces of the KUFA. The audience experiences not a classic stage evening with fixed seating, but an open cultural event with changing impulses, short formats, and plenty of room for interaction.
Participate, experiment, and discover new perspectives
Every half hour, different stations invite guests to be active. Visitors dive into the world of drumming, let their creativity flow in the Atelier Lebenskunst, or write their own texts in the writing workshop. This varied dramaturgy makes the Cultural Buffet a lively community experience, where each station opens new impressions.
Noisy Letter: Seven Cultural Groups in a Collaborative Production
A special focus is on the project Noisy Letter. Videos of the mini-productions are played on a large screen as silent cinema in a continuous loop. In just four to six weeks, a total of eight contributions were collaboratively created. Choir, samba, percussion, theater, and writing workshop meet in unusual artistic constellations.
The choir Auftakt supported the band Sleeping Ann as a backing choir. The samba group Ramba Zamba provided the soundtrack for a wordless performance by the theater group TOBAK. The percussion group Hörsturz developed a small audio play together with the authors from Writing Diversity. The results demonstrate how inclusive cultural production connects musical, linguistic, and theatrical boundaries.
Dance, improvisation, and culinary bites
Further program items bring movement and spontaneity to the evening: The dance group Wackelkontakt presents a short performance, while TOBAK surprises the audience with a mini-impro show. Additionally, there are culinary bites for a small hunger in between – fitting the open character of the Cultural Buffet.
Free entrance and open to all
Entrance to the Cultural Buffet is free. Donations for the KUFA support association Inclusion through Culture are welcome. The event stands for lived participation, creative encounters, and a festival atmosphere in a small, personal format. Instead of camping and open-air stages, visitors will experience an indoor multi-day experience in the spirit of festival culture: exploring together, participating, and celebrating.
Conclusion: Experience Culture Together
The Cultural Buffet in KUFA Bamberg connects ten years of inclusive cultural work with a diverse program for curious culture fans. Those who want to experience music, theater, dance, creative workshops, and a communal atmosphere in one evening will find a special reason to attend. Admission is free – so go, participate, and experience the diversity of KUFA live.
