Discover Bamberg at Night: An Exploration with a Flashlight
When darkness falls over Bamberg, the Natural History Museum transforms into an extraordinary experience space. During the one-hour flashlight tour on Friday, November 13, 2026, visitors explore the pitch-black museum rooms and experience exhibitions, exhibits, and natural history topics from a completely new perspective.
A Special Discovery Experience at the Natural History Museum
Only the beam of the flashlight breaks through the nighttime atmosphere. Shadows, outlines, and selected exhibition objects stand out particularly intensely. The tour combines knowledge transfer, local culture, and a sensory museum experience into a cultural enrichment for curious explorers.
History and Natural Knowledge to Touch
The Natural History Museum Bamberg is located at Fleischstraße 2 and is known for its historic bird hall and natural history collections. During the flashlight tour, the focus is on details that easily remain hidden under normal lighting. The dark environment creates a concentrated atmosphere and opens an unusual access to the cultural heritage and natural history topics of the museum.
