Wolfgang Buck brings Franconian poetry to life
On Friday, October 23, 2026, Wolfgang Buck will perform his program IMMERWEIDER at Kulturboden Hallstadt. Starting at 8:00 PM, the Franconian song artist combines sensitive dialect, clever observations, and warm guitar playing into a concert experience full of laughter, contemplation, and gentle melancholy.
Franconian words that resonate
Since 1983, Wolfgang Buck has been writing songs in the Franconian dialect and has been on stage since 1987. His songs tell stories of human weaknesses, societal contradictions, and the small moments of everyday life. His language sounds not like folklore, but like precise observation, linguistic charm, and a cosmopolitan attitude.
Guitar playing with warmth and precision
At the center is Buck himself: guitar, voice, and a stage performance that does not require grandstanding. His music ranges from delicate, almost floating melodies to pointed passages with rhythmic bite. The orchestration remains deliberately approachable so that every word, every pause, and every turn can resonate in the space.
IMMERWEIDER instead of farewell mood
The title of the program sends a clear message. Wolfgang Buck is not thinking of a farewell tour but rather of more evenings with his Franconian songs. His concert thrives on the direct connection to the audience: The atmosphere shifts between cheerful serenity, musical intimacy, and moments where laughter suddenly turns into contemplation.
An artist with endurance
In almost four decades, Wolfgang Buck has amassed around 2,000 concerts and released numerous albums, including Sambesi, Des Gwärch und des Meer, and Visäwie. For his work, he has received awards including the Frankenwürfel, the Wolfram-von-Eschenbach Prize, and the Cultural Prize of Bavaria. His concert history ranges from Franconian stages to renowned venues and festivals outside the region.
Laugh with ease, go home with courage
Wolfgang Buck encounters the challenges of the present with humor, humanity, and musical clarity. Instead of trivial lyrics, the audience can expect an evening with character, precise timing, and a live atmosphere that resonates long after the last chord.
Conclusion: Those who want to experience Franconian song art, intelligent lyrics, and authentic guitar playing live will find a special concert evening in IMMERWEIDER. At Kulturboden Hallstadt, linguistic wit, musical warmth, and genuine audience proximity come together. Secure your tickets now and experience Wolfgang Buck live.
