Funky Blues Rock with Southern Soul: Tim Jäger & Bad Business live in Bamberg
On October 23, 2026, the STIL.Bruch in Bamberg transforms into an intimate meeting place for fans of blues rock, southern rock, and jam rock. Tim Jäger & Bad Business will take the stage at 9:00 PM with their own songs from three current albums, as well as selected cover songs. Admission is free, and doors open at 5:30 PM.
When Blues Rock Gets Moving
Tim Jäger combines distinctive guitar work and expressive singing with a funky blues rock sound. The musical signature draws influences from Warren Haynes and the Allman Brothers while also allowing for extended jam rock moments. A live atmosphere emerges from driving grooves, bluesy warmth, and southern rock energy, making the audience feel alive.
A Rhythm Section with Blind Understanding
Hubi Funk on bass and Tiziano Büdel on drums form the rhythmic foundation of the band. Their interplay feels precise, powerful, and grooved. The synchronization of bass and drums creates space for the guitar lines, producing a sound that is experienced particularly directly and physically in the club setting of STIL.Bruch.
Organ, Rhodes, and Virtuoso Stage Performance
Krister Kunde enriches the soundscape on keyboards with warm organ textures and virtuoso Rhodes and organ solos. This gives the band a multifaceted orchestration where blues feeling, rock dynamics, and improvised passages intertwine. Tim Jäger's guitar work leads through the songs while the band noticeably responds to each other on stage.
Original Songs and Unusual Cover Songs
The concert combines material from three current albums with selected cover songs that are not part of the usual pub repertoire. This mix makes the evening interesting for connoisseurs of blues and rock: familiar musical roots meet independent arrangements, spontaneous conducting, and the energy of a tight-knit club band.
