Swing’it brings the Roaring Twenties to Bamberg
On Sunday, October 18, 2026, Swing’it transforms the Jazzkeller Bamberg into a pulsating New Orleans night. Starting at 8:00 PM, the internationally experienced swing band takes its audience back to the 1920s – a time when jazz, speakeasies, glamour, and carefree nights set the rhythm.
Jazz between Speakeasy and Big Stage
Swing’it is one of the most successful swing bands in Europe and has already played around 1000 concerts worldwide. The band combines traditional jazz with modern influences to create an infectious sound that blends historical timbres with contemporary stage performance.
A Musical Journey Through the Golden Twenties
The show tells the story of the birth of jazz, the Roaring Twenties, and the era of The Great Gatsby. Tales of bootleggers, secret bars, flappers, and dappers meet swinging rhythms, precise synchronization, and an energetic live atmosphere.
From Club Concert to Festival Moment
Swing’it is at home in major festivals, swing dance clubs, television appearances, on cruise ships, and at intimate concerts in hidden bars. Performing in front of thousands of dancing and celebrating people is also part of the band's experience. A nomination as the world's best school concert in 2025 underscores the special impact of their live shows.
Jazzkeller Bamberg as a Charming Concert Venue
The Jazzkeller Bamberg at Obere Sandstraße 18 provides the perfect setting for this evening. Free seating and the immediate club atmosphere bring the audience and band close together – ideal for anyone who wants to not just hear swing music but feel it physically.
Conclusion: Bamberg Dances to the Beat of the Twenties
Swing’it promises a colorful concert experience between New Orleans jazz, glamour, and a carefree party atmosphere. Those wanting to experience the energy of the Roaring Twenties live should secure tickets for October 18, 2026, at Jazzkeller Bamberg.
