Slam Elephant brings Heavy Funk Rock to the Live Club Bamberg
On October 3, 2026, Slam Elephant will transform the Live Club Bamberg into a powerful stage for Heavy Funk Rock. Doors open at 8:00 PM, the concert begins at 8:30 PM. Admission is free until 9:30 PM.
Rock riffs meet Funk grooves
Slam Elephant combine powerful rock riffs with funky rhythms, bluesy colors, and musical experimental joy. The Bamberg formation consciously navigates between indie rock, blues, and funk, developing a distinctive sound with driving bass, striking guitars, and an expressive stage performance.
Energetic live atmosphere
The sextet stands for a physical, playful live atmosphere. Precise synchronization, groove-oriented drumming, and saxophone colors meet an intense stage presence. The sound remains open for surprising twists, blending technical control with spontaneous concert energy.
Acclaimed band from Bamberg
Since their founding in 2015, Slam Elephant has earned an audience beyond their Franconian homeland. Performances in Leipzig, Hamburg, Dresden, and Augsburg, as well as festival appearances at Festung Rockt and Krach am Bach, are part of their history. At the end of 2023, the formation won the title of Band of the Year in Upper Franconia in the Rock in Upper Franconia competition.
Between live set and acoustic sound world
After the EPs A Dose of Freedom and Vertigo, Slam Elephant released the vinyl album The Lounge in 2024. The eight acoustic pieces expand the heavy live sound with bluesy, melancholic, and atmospheric facets. However, at the concert in the Live Club, the band's energetic side will take center stage.
Conclusion: An evening for groove, pressure, and joy of playing
Visitors can expect an intense concert experience with rock 'n' roll, funk grooves, and Bamberg band energy. Those who want to experience Slam Elephant live should take advantage of the early admission: Admission is free until 9:30 PM.
