Oporto brings their wild rock sound to Bamberg
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the Bamberg band Oporto transforms the KUFA into a vibrant resonance space for rock’n’roll, Mississippi blues, 60s folk, and heavy metal. Doors open at 7:45 PM, and the concert begins at 8:30 PM.
Between street music and rhythmic eruption
Oporto draws energy from street music: direct, unpolished, and always ready to relinquish control for an intense concert experience. Their sound combines edgy guitars, driving drums, double bass, and violin into a quirky mix with a bluesy foundation and rock power.
Feverish sound with a distinctive voice
At the center is singer and guitarist Armano Persau. His expressive voice carries the stage performance between controlled skill and emotional outburst. When Oporto opens up the dynamics, a dense live atmosphere is created: raw guitar energy meets the warm resonance of the double bass, while the violin adds additional tension to the orchestration.
Five musicians, one uncompromising stage moment
The lineup includes Armano Persau on vocals and guitar, André Lautner on guitar, Rebekka Wagner on violin, Markus Erhardt on double bass, and Kilian Pistor on drums. Their synchronization and variable conduct within the band continually create new tonal colors between driving grooves, bluesy passages, and eruptive rock moments.
