MTW brings the unmistakable STS sound to Hallstadt

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, MTW transforms the cultural space in Hallstadt into an atmospheric meeting point for all who love the handcrafted songs of S.T.S. Starting at 19:00, the repertoire of the Austrian pop-rock formation will resonate in an authentic tribute show with Styrian feeling, distinctive guitars, and harmonious vocals.

Folk-Rock with Dialect and Character

S.T.S. shaped German-speaking folk-rock from 1978 to 2012. Their songs blend catchy melodies with profound lyrics that develop a unique sound in the Styrian dialect. In addition to their own compositions, pieces with references to Neil Young, Crosby, Stills & Nash, the Byrds, Bob Dylan, and the Beatles were part of the band's musical environment.

Six Musicians, a Full Resonance Body

MTW continues this sound live with a six-member lineup. Oliver Langer, Tom Schrollinger, and Werner Völkel share vocals and guitars. Together with keyboardist Roland Rettenbacher, bassist Mike Fix, and drummer Steve Bauer, they create a dense stage performance with handcrafted sound, clear synchronization, and a strong feel for the characteristic orchestration of STS songs.

Authenticity instead of Mere Copy

Since the first concert on March 16, 2013, in Nuremberg, MTW has dedicated itself to making the atmosphere of STS performances as close to the original as possible. It is not about a pure copy but about the lively stage performance of a band that knows the musical signature of Steinbäcker, Timischl, and Schiffkowitz and brings it to the stage with its own energy.

An Evening for Longtime Fans and New Discoverers

The ongoing response to the concerts shows how deeply the songs of S.T.S. are rooted in the audience. In younger performances, up to 1300 guests attended, and numerous events have already sold out in advance. Therefore, in the cultural space in Hallstadt, moments of singing along, warm guitar sounds, and a concentrated live atmosphere come together.
