Hale Bopp brings blues classics with its own signature to Bamberg

On Friday, October 2, 2026, the Jazzkeller Bamberg will transform into a resonance chamber for blues, rock, and improvisational joy. Hale Bopp connects well-known songs with unique arrangements and a concert experience driven by dynamic interplay, warm organ sound, and electric guitar energy.

Blues, rock, and jazz in direct dialogue

The four musicians draw from a repertoire that includes Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, T-Bone Walker, Steely Dan, and John Mayer. Hale Bopp does not stop at faithful interpretations: the band reshapes the originals, shifts accents, and leaves room for spontaneous turns. Blues forms the foundation, rock provides the pressure, while jazz elements and collective improvisation create surprising harmonic colors.

Four musicians, one common pulse

Ruppert Aumüller takes on vocals and guitar, Stephan Hänisch is on drums, Stefan Stößel shapes the sound on organ and Rhodes as well as with his vocals, and Hubertus Funk completes the quartet on bass and additional vocal parts. The lineup combines a powerful rhythmic foundation with precise synchronization and plenty of space for musical communication.

Live atmosphere with history

Half composed of professional musicians, Hale Bopp has accompanied the Guitar Fight Night in Bamberg for 26 years. This long-standing stage experience is reflected in the stage performance: grooves intertwine, guitar lines set striking accents, and the interplay develops organically from bluesy themes to powerful rock moments. In the Jazzkeller, direct sound, an intimate club atmosphere, and focused audience mood come together.

An evening for fans of handmade music

Those who appreciate blues classics, expressive guitar work, and lively arrangements will experience a concert evening with character at Hale Bopp. Instead of rigid processes, the collective musical movement takes center stage. Each number receives its own tension arc, carried by organ sounds, Rhodes colors, bouncing bass, and drumming that gives the songs energy and direction.

Conclusion: Hale Bopp brings blues-soaked rock, familiar song gems, and improvised live energy to the Jazzkeller Bamberg on October 2, 2026. Those who want to experience the band in an intimate club atmosphere should not miss this evening of handmade music.
