Dämmerland brings fantasy and epic music live to Bamberg
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the door to an extraordinary fantasy world opens in Bamberg: Dämmerland combines narrative, reading, and epic live music into a multimedia stage show. In the Joseph-Keilberth-Saal of the Bamberg Concert and Congress Hall, powerful voices, a large band ensemble, and visual staging come together.
A fantasy epic with musical impact
Dämmerland was created from the collaboration of Malte Hoyer, known as the singer of Versengold, and Hannes Braun from Kissin' Dynamite. The project combines audio play, music, and book into a self-contained narrative world. The debut album reached second place in the German album charts in 2024, and the sequel Dämmerland 2 subsequently achieved first place.
Live atmosphere between reading and concert
The show does not rely on a typical concert format. The narrative, spoken passages, and music are interwoven while the live band carries the orchestrated soundscapes and powerful rock moments. Malte Hoyer, Hannes Braun, and Annie Hurdy Gurdy bring the original voices of the project to the stage. Narrator Stephan Benson complements the concert with storytelling presence.
Visual worlds, great voices, and surprise guests
The stage performance thrives on the interplay of sound, light, and narration. Epic arrangements meet detailed visual impressions, creating a dense live atmosphere. Surprise guests from the Dämmerland world expand the ensemble and add extra excitement to the evening.
A concert experience for fantasy and music fans
The combination of fantasy story, reading, and live music appeals to both seasoned concert-goers and families and younger visitors. Instead of individual songs, a cohesive evening unfolds, in which musical motifs, characters, and narrative fuse into a three-dimensional fantasy epic.
Conclusion: Experience Dämmerland live in Bamberg
Dämmerland transforms the Joseph-Keilberth-Saal into a stage for grand soundscapes, narrative tension, and visual magic. Those who want to experience the successful fantasy project not only through sound but in its full stage performance should note October 31, 2026, and experience the evening live in Bamberg.
