Internationally Recognized Guitarist and Music Educator
Brunn established himself as an internationally renowned blues musician after American guitar legend Happy Traum took notice of him and engaged him for the instructional video series Homespun. This led to eight programs under the title Jewels of Acoustic Blues Guitar as well as his own blues picking school, published by Homespun and in print by Hal Leonard.
As an educator, Brunn also shaped the regional music scene. From 1985 to 2023, he taught guitar at the Municipal Music School Bamberg. For his commitment, especially in band and ensemble work, he received the honorary pin from the Association of Bavarian Singing and Music Schools in 2016.
