Cycling through South America – Cabaret, Comedy, and Music in Bamberg
When two passionate touring cyclists bring their journey through South America to the stage, it results in no ordinary travelogue but a rapid laughter experience filled with music, self-irony, and political cabaret. Maja Lührsen and Theo Vagedes will perform as Travel Group Ehrenfeld on October 16, 2026, at KUFA Bamberg.
Between Lima, Patagonia, and the End of the World
The comedic atmosphere takes the audience from Lima through Patagonia to the end of the world. Large-format projections bring original locations to the stage, while the bicycle, folding stool, and sleeping bag become surprising props for an unusual tour cabaret.
Punchlines on Two Wheels
Poetic-humorous songs, dynamic choreography, and pointed debates combine stand-up, cabaret, and music into a unique stage format. The timing is as precise as the bicycle helmet – and the audience reaction is likely to pick up speed particularly where expanses, wind, and warm showers come under scrutiny.
Politics Meets Flat White
The Travel Group Ehrenfeld connects current issues with wonderfully absurd everyday questions. Energy supply, water rights, and bike patch quotas collide with the central question of humanity: whether Nescafé with coffee creamer can already be considered a Flat White. Self-irony replaces raised fingers without losing political sharpness.
A Pan Flute-Free Zone
The Cologne cabaret duo consciously transcends the boundaries of classical entertainment. The stage becomes the vehicle of travel, the projection the landscape, and the folding stool the possible main character. One thing remains guaranteed: the stage is a pan flute-free zone.
Conclusion: Visitors can expect an energetic laughter experience filled with cabaret, comedy, music, projections, and unusual stage presence. Those who want to embark on a journey to South America without packing stress, sunburn, and bike breakdowns can best experience the Travel Group Ehrenfeld live at KUFA.
